This blog is about my life as a mom, raising a son with a mood disorder and autism. This is a tough journey and I hope that my words may allow others living with this illness see that they’re not alone. I’m also using this blog as a tool to process my own feelings and let go of the pain that I carry inside. If you’re new to this blog, check out my list of “Important Posts” in the right column and feel free to share your story with me. This blog shouldn’t be used for medical advice.

Quality Time Awaits...
I’ll be taking a few days off from blogging as I spend some quality time with my family this week. I look forward to sharing the details later. I’m also honored to share with you a very personal interview from a father living in Pakistan who lost his son to suicide 5 years ago after his bipolar illness took over. He reached out to me through this blog and expressed his desire to share his story with hopes that someone in the world can learn from his experience. I hope that you will check back for this special interview after next week. Wishing you all happy summer days and the strength and hope to get through the tough ones.
